Once you establish your niche,use Google External Keyword Tool. Type in the keywords you want, click search, and you get a list of popular searches related to your keywords. It really is easy to find a niche market.
Choose the right keywords. Now, obviously, you do not want to choose the most popular keywords, too much competition.
Choose keywords that have less than 20,000 competing pages, but draw over 500 visitors per month.
A short example:
I look for sea fishing on Google. This is far too big at 11,200,000 searches.
Sea fishing Scottish coast, gives me 511,000, slightly better.
Sea fishing Stranraer, gives 6,430, and that of course can be brought down further if required.
So you can see how easy it is to research your niche, all you need to do now is to find your USP, your unique selling point.
